Presented with support by Oconomowoc Realty, our beloved appraisal fair returns! This program will offer participants the opportunity to receive informal appraisals from certified professionals and gain insight into their items’ significance. Some objects carry notable market value, others are treasured for the stories and connections they embody, and occasionally an item’s worth is more modest than expected. Yet each holds a place in someone’s history. This year’s appraisers bring expertise many areas including specialization in architecture, art, military artifacts, furniture, porcelain, and American Indian artifacts. If an item is too large or heavy to bring to the museum, appraisers can evaluate it from photographs.
